Troodon or Troodon formosus pronounced troo·dn was a small therepodial, carnivorous dinosaur that lived in the late Cretaceous Period, about 66 million years ago. The troodon has been found in the U.S and Canada. The name troodon means wounding teeth.

The troodon weighed around 130lb, was around 6 ft long, and around 3 ft tall. Some relatives to the troodon are the Zanabazar, Saurornithoides, and Talos. No complete troodon skeleton has ever been found.

The troodon mostly feeds on small lizards and mammals. The troodon is theorised to hunt in packs . The velociraptor had 122 teeth and the teeth were about 7.5 mm long.

The troodon is theorized to be the smartest dinosaur discovered. The troodon is guessed to be warm blooded. The troodon has a top speed of 35 mph. The troodon is said to have feathers like other dinosaurs.
