Thecodontosaurus or Thecodontosaurus antiquis pronounced theek-o-don-toh-sore-us. Was a small, quadropodial, herbivorous dinosaur that lived in the Triassic Period, about 252 million years ago. The thecodontosaurus has been found in England, Wales, and Argenta. The name Thecodontosaurus means socket-toothed lizard. Thecodontosaurus lived in herds with many other thecodontosaurus.

The thecodontosaurus weighed around 154 lbs, was around 7 ft long, and around 4 ft tall. It is one of the smaller dinosaurs of its time period.

About 254 fragmentary skeletons of the thecodontosaurus have been found. The thecodontosaurus is one of the many dinosaurs that is lesser known to the public.

The thecodontosaurus mostly feeds on smaller plants. The roots of its teeth were not fused giving it its name. Its teeth were perfectly mode for chewing on the types of plants it eats.

The thecodontosaurus is guessed to be warm blooded. The legs of the thecodontosaurus have made scientists assume that the thecodontosaurus was capible of high speed sprinting. The Thecodontosaurus is said to not have feathers unlike other dinosaurs.

The thecodontosaurus is one of the oldest dinosaurs ever found. The thecodontosaurus was the fifth dinosaur found.
